I’m working on an upcoming article for beginning authors. The article will discuss the risks of trying to put out a large piece of work as your first edition.

Authors can minimize risks by turning their larger work into a series. Based on feedback about their first edition, they may or may not proceed with additional editions. As well, series are likely to earn more income than a single edition.
